About
VCU Foundation
Established in 1968, the VCU Foundation has played a vital role in supporting Virginia Commonwealth University from its earliest days. Created to manage and steward private resources for the newly formed university, the Foundation has grown alongside VCU—helping fuel its rise as a national research institution.
Today, we partner with donors and friends of the university to strengthen VCU’s mission, expand opportunities for students, and invest in the faculty, programs, and innovation that shape the university’s future. Through responsible fiduciary leadership and a commitment to long-term impact, we ensure that private support continues to make a lasting difference for VCU and the communities it serves.
